Hello

So glad you're here! Learn more about my professional experience before we get started.

My Story

A Foundation in Storytelling

I started my career as a beat reporter for small-town news, where I learned how to listen, ask the right questions, and tell accurate, compelling stories under real deadlines. I later wrote for B2B finance publications, translating complex, technical topics into clear, accessible narratives for professional audiences.

That early journalism experience continues to shape how I approach communications today—grounded in clarity, audience awareness, and accountability.

Creativity Within Constraints

I later joined Toys“R”Us, where I was part of the creative team and led copy development for iconic retail publishing, including the Big Book of Toys. Working in high-visibility, space-constrained formats sharpened my ability to be creative, precise, and impactful—often in just a few words.

It’s a skill I still rely on when helping leaders communicate clearly in moments where attention is limited and every word counts.

How I Show Up

Before stepping fully into corporate communications and philanthropy leadership, I also worked as a Disney Cast Member, where I saw firsthand how culture, consistency, and experience shape behavior. At Starbucks, I served as a barista, supervisor, and Coffee Master, gaining an appreciation for frontline realities, operational excellence, and leading with empathy.

I’ve also won public speaking awards through scholarship pageants, experiences that strengthened my ability to connect with diverse audiences and communicate with confidence and clarity—skills I bring into executive advisory work today.

I was raised in New Jersey and now live in the Atlanta area, which means I bring both directness and warmth to my work, and I value relationships as much as results.
